3 Partnership Possibilities
April 2026
Greetings,
It seems fitting to celebrate all the growth & beauty we are seeing in our ministry as the flowers are starting to bloom & the air is sweet with the fragrance of spring rain! Now that we are four months into the year, we can say with confidence that our new initiatives are bearing the kind of fruit we prayed for early in January as we were planning the NoCo year, & we believe that our gracious God is only just getting started!
“But blessed are those who trust in the Lord & have made the Lord their hope & confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, & they never stop producing fruit.”
– Jeremiah 17:7-8
While we are seeing these developments begin to flourish, we could still use your help in creating a sustainable future. We spend loads of time in prayer for the projects & programs we take on, believing in faith that God will provide for that which He calls us to. At this time, we would like to invite you to prayerfully consider making a financial contribution to one of the following three campaigns.
Pick a Partnership!
1. Support Starting Artists
The Gold Thread is our new monthly art gallery, a public event that carries great potential for both starting artists & our organization. The artists we feature benefit from a boost in visibility, new connections, & the chance to sell some of their work. NoCo benefits from networking & building relationships with people in our community. We want to curate an experience that will draw people in & keep them coming, but our space is currently set up to serve programs geared toward making art & not exhibition. Our goal is to commission a local artist to construct four museum-quality art walls, which will not only be used for The Gold Thread, but also for our other programs & events throughout the year!
As part of our mission to elevate emerging artists, we are very eager & excited to invest in this project. If you would like to support the project, we hope to raise a total of $3,000 for the cost of materials by June 1.

2. Sponsor the Sound Studio
Did you know The COVE Art Center has a Sound Studio, fully-equipped with recording equipment & stocked with musical instruments?! For the last couple of years, a wonderfully gifted musician & audio technician has managed “The Nursery” Sound Studio, recording singles, EPs, & albums for bands & singer-songwriters. He is now heading into a new season, & though we are sad to see him go, we intend to keep the studio open to our Afterschool students & invite others to use the space for practice, lessons, & recording sessions!

The catch is, The Novelty Collective is now footing the bill. One way you can help us keep it running is by committing to a monthly donation that will directly cover this new expense. Rent on this space is $200 per month, so every penny helps. Monthly funds raised beyond the cost of rent will go toward studio upkeep, which will also be a tremendous help.
Start your monthly contribution by following this link:
There are other ways you can help with the studio, as well! If you or someone you know is interested in any of the following, we would love to connect about using our space:
Instrument lessons: for the teachers who need a place to teach & the students who want to learn
Recording, mixing, & mastering: for audio engineers who need studio space & artists who want to record
Booking practice space: for bands & solo artists who need a space to play & turn up the volume

The studio is set up with a variety of electric, acoustic, & bass guitars, several combo amps, an acoustic drum set, a digital piano, auxiliary percussion instruments, microphones, stands, cables, a mixer, & more.
Please message us with interest!
3. Send Students to Surf City
Afterschool students David & Byron running on the Silver Lake Dunes during “beach day” at Surf City
We are taking a group of Afterschool students to Surf City summer camp this July! The camp is an action-packed week of group activities, team competitions, water sports, & much more. It’s also an awesome opportunity for kids to participate in worship & hear a dynamic, life-changing presentation of the gospel.
PKF has generously provided scholarships for our students’ stay at camp, but getting there is still a challenge we are working to solve. We never want money to be a barrier to kids hearing the good news of Jesus, so we are running this campaign to cover travel & other expenses for the students who can’t afford to go. The goal is to raise a total of $2,000 by July 1.

A Leap of Faith
This year, NoCo is celebrating one decade of ministry, which is a lot to take in! We’ve made it this far by the grace of God, & in faith, we plan to keep going for as long as the Spirit moves us to serve our community through this ministry. We cannot express our depth of gratitude for all those who have partnered with us to make this possible throughout the years.
We have a real need for monthly commitments from our donors. Having a consistent amount we can count on each month allows us to plan & budget with greater confidence. When you give as little as $10 per month, you’ll also get in on NoCo Insiders. But that’s just an added bonus to the real impact you make on the countless individuals who discover a new creative passion, hear & understand the gospel, establish lifelong friendships with kindred creatives, & a whole lot more when they participate in our programs.
Currently, we have a total of $880 in monthly commitments flowing into our donor platform, Givebutter. At the moment I am writing this, we are facing a deficit budget for 2026. It is our hope & desire to see that monthly amount rise to $1,500 by August 1 of this year. With a little faith & God’s miraculous provision, we believe it’s possible. But that’s where you come in…
Please take some time to pray & consider how you can help support The Novelty Collective. If a monthly commitment is beyond your personal ability right now, perhaps God will bring a friend, family member, church, or other ministry to mind who can get behind our mission & donate. Maybe there are things we haven’t thought of that are within your ability, & you can donate your time to exploring new streams of income for The Novelty Collective.
Thank you for taking the time to read, pray, & consider. We truly believe that it is more blessed to give than to receive, & we are asking God to pour out an abundance of joy, peace, healing, & provision for all those who continue to partner with us in ministry.
Please reach out if you have any questions or if you would like us to join you in prayer for the needs in your life.
Blessings,
Jordan & Brittany
