Summer Arts
Day Camp
Movers & Makers
Summer Arts Day Camp is a continuation of our Afterschool youth programming for middle school & high school students who are ready to take their creativity to new heights. Concentrated art classes are designed to give our young people a solid introduction to new mediums & propel their artistic journey forward. Lessons take place at The COVE Art Center over two weeks in July. Week one is dedicated to the Visual Arts, including subjects like illustration, painting, photography, jewelry making, & more. The following week is focused on Performing Arts, featuring classes for those interested in composing & reciting poetry, playing musical instruments, or stage acting.
Camp serves a dual purpose for our creative community: it offers an exciting avenue for students to grow, to discover new passions, & to connect to other kids with similar interests, & it’s also a rewarding way for adult artists to pass on their knowledge & abilities to the next generation of makers.
